Cambodia’s salt production for last year totalled 168,882 tonnes across 3,987.35 hectares of salt fields in Kampot and Kep provinces. Kampot accounted for 3,489.48 hectares, producing 128,474 tonnes, while Kep contributed 497.87 hectares, yielding 40,408 tonnes. The sector is supported by 191 producer groups.
