Eighty-nine semi-automatic cashew nut peeling machines were provided to 27 cashew-farming communities and agricultural cooperatives in Preah Vihear province on Monday under the CHINA AID–UNDP project, aimed at boosting productivity and improving incomes for poor rural households.
The machines are expected to increase the income-generating capacity of poor households in vulnerable rural communities.
