According to the report from the Cambodia Rice Federation, Cambodia exported approximately 100,000 tonnes of milled rice worth $72.67 million in the first two months of 2023. In order to quickly reach its one million tonnes export goal, CRF has been promoting Cambodian rice at all international trade shows. As recently at the Gulfood in Dubai, the CRF showed their keenness to identify new exporting destinations and introduced Cambodian rice to Middle East countries. They also built a connection by collecting business cards of 700 firms as a contact and will negotiate next about trading deals, price quotations and shipping connections.
