On 31st August 2023, CJCC, CJBI, and JBAC had the honor to co-organize the ‘’CJBI Networking Gathering 2023’’ under the theme ‘’Addressing the Challenge of SMEs Together’’ at Angkor-Kizuna Hall, CJCC. This event was conducted with three main specific purposes: (1) to provide participants with an incredible opportunity to delve deeper into the world of accessing finance and technology, (2) to acquire practical experience in the art of promoting brand awareness and (3) to explore potential collaborations with esteemed Cambodian and Japanese companies that are members of CJBI and the Japanese Business Association of Cambodia which known as (JBAC).

Under the theme ‘’Addressing the Challenges of SMEs Together’’, there were three different topics that were shared by prominent Japanese and Cambodian business owners including Ms. LAY Sokhuy, Deputy Team Leader, Swisscontact, Mr. VA Kora, CEO of SpaciaNet Co., Ltd., Mr. OL Tola, Chief Operation Officer of Misota Food Import and Export Co., Ltd., Mr. KURATA Hironubu, President of KURATA PEPPER Co., Ltd., Mr. MIZUKOSHI Takehara, CEO of Forval (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., Mr. NISHIMURA Seishiro, CEO of KrormaTours Co., Ltd., and a moderator, Mrs. YOU Bory, Founder and CEO of Talent Excellence Development Partner Co., Ltd. The speakers and the moderator have extensive experiences in leading their businesses and overcoming the barriers to build their businesses which they come to a circle discussion and share it to the participants. On top of that, the event also came up with engaging activities such as team building, and dining networking that offered a chance for participants to build networks and camaraderie among themselves.

Overall, the CJBI Networking Gathering 2023 was a resounding success. 77 attendees, including CJBI members, non-members, JBAC members, and relevant partners left the event equipped with valuable insights, practical skills, and an expanded network of contacts.
