The Japan-Cambodia Kizuna Festival 2024 was held at the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center with an aim to introduce and exchange Cambodian and Japanese culture, traditions, and arts. This year's event commemorated the 20th anniversary of the CJCC, which serves as a symbol of friendship between Japan and Cambodia, and it was more spectacular than the previous years. It was attended by Mr. Pen Mony Makara, Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Arts, Mr. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, and Mr. Kazutomo Taniuchi, Embassy of Japan in Cambodia. In his speech, Minister Taniuchi thanked all those who contributed to the celebration marking the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. On the day of the event, traditional Japanese culture and arts were introduced, food and drink stalls were set up, and hands-on classes such as sushi making were introduced. The theme of this year's Kizuna Festival was "Memories for Our New Chapters," in hope that both countries will make even greater strides in the future.
