On 20 October 2021, CJBI successfully conducted the second session of Virtual CJBI Members Gathering Program 2021 under the topic “The Culture Approach to Dealing with Cambodian and Japanese Companies”. This session aimed to provide participants with practical approaches and experiences on how Cambodian and Japanese companies work with each other as well as the key elements of Cambodian and Japanese business culture.
Our first speaker, Dr. IENG Sothera, President of CJBI and the Founder of ARAKAWA Residence, has shared some theories from Buddha regarding the three principles (Honesty, Forgiveness and Gratitude) that all people including business people should be considered when collaborating in any business activities or in any working environment. Besides that, our second speaker, Mr. UEMATSU Hiroshi, CEO of Phnom Penh SEZ Plc. also shared his 14-year-business journey, the importance of business as well as some theories of Will of Universe that he applied to his business.
This session provided many useful tips from both speakers that all business owners should be considered when doing business. During the discussion session, there were active interactions between the participants and the lecture, which made the session more practical and meaningful. At the end of the event, we invited 2 CJBI members to share their impressions and experiences of being a CJBI member. In total, there were 50 participants actively joining this member gathering event.
