Third Session of Virtual CJBI Member gathering 2021

On 26 November 2021, CJBI successfully conducted the third session of Virtual CJBI Members Gathering under the topic “Cambodia-Japan Business Partnership: Successful Cases in Cambodia”. This session aimed to provide participants with practical experiences and best practices from the real cases of how Cambodian and Japanese companies work with each other as well as how to strengthen the business partnerships between the two nations.

Our first speaker, Mr. KEO  Reasmey, Co-Founder and Managing Director of UDAYA Technology Co. Ltd., shared some milestones of his company journey and how the company successfully maintain the business partnership with Japanese companies. Our second speaker, Mr. KURUKAWA Makoto, Director and Deputy CEO of J Trust Royal Bank, also shared his stories of working in Cambodia along with his 40 years of experience in banking and cooperate governances as well as the key element of how to form the successful business partnership with Cambodian companies.

This session provided many beneficial tips and inspired ideas from both speakers that all business owners should consider while forming partnerships with Cambodia and Japanese companies. During the discussion session, with the facilitation from Mr. YUGE Yasuhiko, JICA Expert of Business Networking, there were fruitful interactions between the participants and both speakers. At the end of the event, two CJBI members were also invited to share their impressions and experiences of being CJBI members. In total, there were 37 participants actively joining this event.
