On December 10, 2021, with the support of Kobe Institute of Computing (KIC), Cambodia-Japan Association for Business and Investment (CJBI) successfully co-organized the “Webinar on Cambodian Digital Start-up Companies” with Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Kobe Institute of Computing (KIC). This event aimed to introduce Cambodian ICT start-ups to Japanese companies and to provide opportunities in business matching between Cambodian and Japanese companies.
In this session, five Cambodian digital start-up companies were selected and invited to introduce the pitch decks of their companies to Japanese participants. Those five companies included Sala, Workingna, Poscar Digital Co., Ltd., ArrowDot Co., Ltd., and Peth Yoeung. Each company shared a very interesting digital business model, potential information related to marketing strategies, sale activities, and future business plan.
Noteworthily, this webinar was also helpful for Japanese companies to gather information regarding digital business in Cambodia and prepare for the future cooperation. During question-and-answer session, there was a very lively interaction among guest speakers and participants, which made the event more worthwhile. In total, there were 91 participants attended this event.
