Total sales increased by 153% to 18.06 billion riels ($4.446 million), up from 7.14 billion riels comparing to previous year, according to Phnom Penh SEZ Plc non-executive chairman Kith Meng. On the other hand, the Net loss diminished to 2.76 billion riels in the first quarter of 2022 compared to 3.73 billion riels in 2021. As of March 2022, the financial position of the company remains strong with total assets amounting to $105 million which consists of non-current assets worth $42 million and current assets of $63 million, as stated by Neak Oknha Kith Meng. Manufacturers of vehicle components, clothing, food and beverages, plastic items, electronic products, and jewelry from Japan, China, Singapore, the United States, Malaysia, the Netherlands, and Australia are housed in the economic zone (May, 2022).
