According to the government, macroeconomic and budget policies were introduced to accelerate economic growth by collecting revenues and establishing priorities by sector, with expectations of lower inflation and a stable exchange rate for 2023, through the support of supplementary extra intervention packages. The government predicts that the economy would grow by 6.6 percent in 2023, while inflation will fall to 2.5 percent this year. Also, they have pondered expanding intervention packages to tackle rising prices and promote domestic investment. The government intends to boost revenue by 21.89 percent of GDP or 12.3 percentage in 2023, with a 26.5 percent rise in taxes and a 14.6 percent increase in non-tax revenue from this year, and to increase spending by 11.3 percent.
